What is a Giclée?
Robert Sherman’s fine art limited editions are museum quality.
The type of print is called a Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay),
which is a fine art digital print created with a high resolution
Iris Printer.
Iris Giclées have an impressive exhibition record with
museums and galleries throughout the world, including the Metropolitan
Museum (New York), The Los Angeles County Museum and The British
Art Museum.
Robert Sherman works with one of the most respected fine art
printmakers to create his fine art limited editions. Only
the best quality materials are used, including the most archival
(life preserving) water-based organic inks available in the
world. Each print receives a UV and light retardant coating
to further protect the art.
Our Deluxe Edition Giclée is printed on artist cotton
canvas, and each Giclée is varnished for moisture protection.
Our Paper Edition Giclée is printed on heavy Somerset
Velvet 100% cotton paper which is archival and acid free.
You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity for each Giclée.
We have taken the utmost care to provide you with a beautiful,
high quality work of art. We hope you will enjoy your fine
art limited edition by Robert Sherman!
